Introduction

Introducing the Onepartner Research Solution:

There are literally thousands of clinical drug trials talking place in the United States at all times.  Each trial contributes to the ongoing development and effectiveness of the pharmaceutical product, and creates an opportunity for physicians to participate in the research – and earn supplemental revenue in the process.  Traditional research, however, is problematic for physicians because of the mandated time demands, paperwork and expenses related to support staff.  Onepartner Research eliminates these roadblocks through the utilization of their electronic recruitment and trials matching technology.  The result is a true opportunity for busy physicians to participate in clinical research.

Instead of recruiting patients through newspaper ads or billboards, Onepartner Research allows physicians to offer clinical drug trials to applicable portions of their existing patients.  Through a process of populating highly secure Central Data Repository (CDR) with key elements of the patient population, characteristics of these patients are electronically matched to the needs of pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations that have trials in the developmental stages.  The benefit to these organizations that of having assurance that qualified patients have already been identified, and delays will not occur because of a lengthy recruitment process.  The benefit to physicians is real opportunities to participate in these clinical research studies, and to earn significant supplemental revenue.

Onepartner extracts data points from the practice EMR through a HIPAA compliant process, and deposits these data points into the Central Data Repository (CDR). The extraction process is quick, electronic and does not impede the practice work flow.  These data points are matched to the needs of trial sponsors that have research studies pending, or in the process of final development.  When patients from a physician’s practice are identified as applicable for a study, the physician practice is notified, and the initial research process begins.  Physicians have the final approval on participation.  If a physician is not interested in participating in a particular study, he/she simply refuses the opportunity for that particular trial.

Physicians are supported in their participation by a trained Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC).  This individual is usually a member of the practice staff, and is thoroughly trained and reimbursed by Onepartner Research.  The advantage of the CRC is that the physician does not have to devote a significant amount of time to each individual study, yet remain in control of the research process.  The CRCs contribution includes patient education, protocol administration and accuracy monitoring.  Most busy physicians consider the CRC as an invaluable part of the Onepartner Research program, and a key to research success.

While the Onepartner Research opportunities seem attractive to practically all physician practices, not all practices can qualify to participate.  Onepartner limits participation to larger practices with a heavily populated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.  Qualifying limits are in place to insure that participating practices receive maximum trials opportunities, and to limit those opportunities to physicians that have a true passion for clinical research.

Park Dansan is an authorized marketing partner with Onepartner Research, and together we provide the information necessary for physicians to evaluate the abundance opportunities related to clinical research.  If your practice would like additional information, or to have a Park Dansan representative call you, please contact us for a no obligation presentation.
